ACCELERATED FREE FALL (AFF)
Theory + 7 jumps. Launch altitude 13,000 ft/ 4000 m above ground.
The Accelerated Free Fall Course is internationally recognised as the first step to getting involved in the sport of skydiving. It is the fastest and safest way to learn the basic skills necessary to become a sport skydiver.
The course consists of theory lessons and 7 free fall skydives (levels) from 13,000 ft / 4,000 m.
The first three levels are carried out accompanied by two instructors who will help you remain stable in free fall until you are able to achieve this yourself.
The remaining four levels are performed by the student with the aid of a single instructor.
During the course you will learn the normal “belly to earth” free fall body position as well as how to make turns, how to “track” (angled flight) and how to perform loops returning to a stable position.
Once your parachute is open your instructor will assist you in flying the canopy, making correct traffic manoeuvres and landing by means of a radio.
During the course you will learn the free fall position as well as making turns, loopings and the track position (advance).
The jumps are recorded in order to facilitate the student’s learning.
The duration of the course is approximately four days.
